Job Summary
We are inviting applications for the position of Lab Assistant across various educational institutions under multiple streams and specializations. The selected candidates will be responsible for supporting laboratory operations, maintaining equipment, assisting faculty and students during practical sessions, and ensuring laboratories are organized, safe, and fully functional.

Qualification:
Undergraduate Degree (UG) in the relevant specialization.
Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar laboratory support role.
Engineering College Laboratories
Departments:
Computer Science Engineering (CSE)
Information Technology (IT)
Biomedical Engineering (BME)
Electronics & Communication Engineering (ECE)
Qualification:
Undergraduate Degree (UG) in the relevant engineering discipline.
Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar laboratory environment.
Arts & Science College Laboratories
Departments:
Computer Science
Biotechnology
Electronics & Communication Systems (ECS)
Qualification:
Undergraduate Degree (UG) in the relevant specialization.
Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar laboratory support role.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare laboratory equipment, materials, and instruments for practical sessions.
Assist faculty members and students during laboratory experiments.
Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure proper functioning.
Perform routine calibration, cleaning, and preventive maintenance of laboratory instruments.
Monitor laboratory inventory and coordinate procurement of consumables.
Ensure proper storage and handling of laboratory chemicals, tools, and equipment.
Maintain laboratory records, stock registers, and equipment logs.
Ensure compliance with laboratory safety procedures and institutional guidelines.
Keep laboratories clean, organized, and ready for academic activities.
Report equipment malfunctions and coordinate repairs when necessary.
Required Skills
Good knowledge of laboratory procedures and equipment.
Basic troubleshooting skills for laboratory instruments.
Strong organizational and record-keeping abilities.
Knowledge of laboratory safety practices.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Attention to detail and accuracy.
Qualification
Undergraduate Degree (UG) in the relevant specialization.
Minimum 2 years of relevant laboratory experience.
Preferred Candidate Profile
Experience working in schools, engineering colleges, or arts & science colleges.
Familiarity with laboratory inventory management.
Ability to work independently as well as within a team.
Responsible, organized, and safety-conscious.
