Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced L1 Application Support Engineer to provide first-level support for web-based and Windows-based applications. The ideal candidate should have strong troubleshooting skills, good communication abilities, and experience documenting routine support activities. Knowledge of databases and data migration is an added advantage.
Key Responsibilities
Provide L1 application support and troubleshoot application-related issues.
Document routine L1 support tasks, procedures, and activities.
Troubleshoot web-based and Windows-based applications.
Support ERP, .NET, and Java-based applications.
Identify, analyze, and resolve application issues, escalating complex problems when necessary.
Assist with database-related activities and data migration or database transfers, where required.
Work collaboratively with team members to ensure effective application support.
Follow established support procedures and maintain appropriate documentation.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Experience: 2–5 years in L1 Application Support.
Hands-on experience in IT application support.
Knowledge of troubleshooting web-based and Windows-based applications.
Experience supporting ERP, .NET, and Java-based applications.
Good communication skills are mandatory.
Strong teamwork and problem-solving abilities.
Good to Have
Knowledge of databases such as Oracle and SQL.
Familiarity with data migration and database transfer activities.
Work Requirements
Willingness to work in a 24×7 support environment, including occasional night shifts.
Availability to work on holidays when required; compensatory leave (comp-off) can be availed as applicable.
Willingness to work collaboratively in a support team.
