Job Title: CNC/VMC Service Engineer – Fanuc Controls

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced CNC/VMC Service Engineer with strong expertise in machine maintenance, Fanuc control systems, commissioning, troubleshooting, and customer support. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installation, maintenance, fault diagnosis, and servicing of CNC and Special Purpose Machines (SPM), ensuring optimal machine performance and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
CNC/VMC Maintenance & Troubleshooting
Perform maintenance and repair of CNC and VMC machines.
Diagnose and resolve electrical, electronic, hydraulic, pneumatic, and servo-related machine faults.
Attend machine breakdowns and restore equipment to operational condition.
Electrical Design & Documentation
Prepare and modify electrical circuit diagrams for CNC and SPM machines.
Interpret electrical schematics and machine documentation for troubleshooting and maintenance purposes.
Machine Installation & Commissioning
Install, commission, and test CNC machines and Special Purpose Machines (SPM).
Ensure machines are calibrated and functioning according to technical specifications.
Conduct machine trials and performance verification before customer handover.
Fanuc Controls & Servo Systems
Perform Fanuc ladder editing and troubleshooting.
Diagnose faults in Fanuc controllers and servo systems.
Handle maintenance and programming support for various Fanuc control platforms.
Analyze CNC control issues and implement corrective solutions.
Hydraulic & Pneumatic Systems
Troubleshoot hydro-pneumatic systems and machine automation components.
Ensure smooth operation of hydraulic and pneumatic circuits used in machining centers.
Customer Support & Training
Provide technical support and assistance to customers.
Conduct customer training after machine installation and commissioning.
Address customer concerns and provide prompt technical solutions.
Preventive Maintenance & AMC Management
Carry out preventive maintenance activities to minimize downtime.
Manage Annual Maintenance Contract (AMC) customers and service schedules.
Maintain service records and prepare maintenance reports.
Spare Parts & Relationship Management
Analyze customer requirements and generate spare parts quotation requests.
Coordinate spare parts recommendations and replacement planning.
Build and maintain strong customer relationships to ensure long-term service satisfaction.

Preferred Qualifications
Diploma / Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, Mechatronics, or related Engineering disciplines.
Experience working with CNC, VMC, Horizontal Machining Centers (HMC), Vertical Machining Centers (VMC), and SPM Machines.
Strong knowledge of Fanuc controls and servo systems.
Candidate Profile
Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
Ability to work independently at customer sites.
Good communication and customer service skills.
Willingness to travel for installation, commissioning, and service activities.
