Job Summary

We are seeking experienced ITI Fitters to join a leading Oil & Gas company in Chennai. The ideal candidate should possess strong mechanical fitting experience within the Oil & Gas sector and be capable of handling installation, maintenance, assembly, and troubleshooting activities related to industrial equipment and mechanical systems. Candidates with Gulf experience are highly preferred.

ITI – Fitter Trade
Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
Experience Required
7 to 12 Years of Relevant Experience
Experience in Oil & Gas Industry is Mandatory
Gulf Experience Preferred
Key Responsibilities
Mechanical Fitting & Assembly
Perform fitting, assembly, installation, and maintenance of mechanical equipment and systems.
Read and interpret engineering drawings, layouts, and technical specifications.
Ensure accurate alignment and fitting of mechanical components.
Maintenance & Troubleshooting
Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
Diagnose and resolve mechanical faults in equipment and machinery.
Support shutdown, turnaround, and maintenance projects.
Equipment Installation
Assist in installation, commissioning, and testing of mechanical equipment.
Ensure equipment is installed according to engineering standards and safety requirements.
Inspection & Quality Control
Inspect equipment and components for wear, damage, and operational efficiency.
Ensure work complies with quality standards and project specifications.
Safety & Compliance
Follow Oil & Gas industry safety regulations and company procedures.
Adhere to HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) standards at all times.
Maintain a safe and organized work environment.
