Job Summary
Healthmed Technologies India Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a Healthcare Integration Engineer with strong expertise in Healthcare IT and software integration technologies. The ideal candidate should have experience in developing and supporting healthcare interfaces using C#.NET, MySQL, and Java, along with industry-standard healthcare communication protocols. This role involves client interaction, interface development, documentation, and global travel for implementation and support.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain healthcare integration solutions.
Develop and support interfaces using C#.NET, MySQL, and Java.
Work with healthcare messaging standards such as HL7 v2, HL7 v3, DICOM, ASTM, and RS232.
Prepare Interface Messaging Specification Documents (IMSD) and technical documentation.
Analyze customer requirements and provide integration solutions.
Troubleshoot interface issues and ensure seamless communication between healthcare systems.
Coordinate with clients for implementation, testing, deployment, and support.
Manage customer expectations and provide technical assistance during project execution.
Travel globally for project implementation, customer support, and training when required.
Required Skills
Strong programming skills in C#.NET, MySQL, and Java.
Good understanding of Healthcare IT systems and workflows.
Hands-on experience with:
HL7 v2 & HL7 v3
DICOM
ASTM
RS232 communication
Knowledge of healthcare integration frameworks and interface engines.
Experience preparing interface messaging specification documents.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and client management skills.
Willingness to travel internationally.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field.
Experience in healthcare software, Hospital Information Systems (HIS), Laboratory Information Systems (LIS), Radiology Information Systems (RIS), or medical device integration is preferred.
Experience
Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in Healthcare IT and system integration.
