Job Summary

Newpage Solutions is looking for an experienced Full Stack Laravel Developer with 3–5 years of professional experience in web application development.

The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in PHP, Laravel, Python, and modern JavaScript frameworks such as Vue.js, Angular, or React.

The selected candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable web applications, implementing microservice integrations, developing REST APIs, and delivering secure, high-performance software solutions.

Key Responsibilities

1. Full Stack Web Application Development

Design, develop, and maintain custom web applications.

Build scalable and reliable applications using PHP, Laravel, and Python.

Participate in the design and delivery of web-based user interface products.

Develop software solutions based on system specifications and business requirements.

Write clean, reusable, maintainable, and efficient application code.

Support both front-end and back-end development activities.

2. Front-End Development

Develop responsive and user-friendly web interfaces.

Work with modern JavaScript frameworks such as Vue.js, Angular, or React.

Integrate frontend components with backend services.

Ensure consistent application functionality and user experience.

Optimize user-facing applications for speed and scalability.

3. Backend Development and API Integration

Develop backend applications and services using Laravel and Python.

Design and implement RESTful APIs.

Integrate user-facing components with server-side application logic.

Identify, analyze, and develop application interfaces and data flows.

Support microservice integrations and application connectivity.

Build reusable code components and libraries for future development.

4. Database and Data Storage Solutions

Design and implement application data storage solutions.

Support database integration with backend applications.

Ensure efficient data retrieval and application performance.

Implement appropriate data protection and security measures.

Contribute to reliable and scalable application architecture.

5. Software Testing and Code Quality

Develop and maintain unit tests for application functionality.

Work with testing frameworks such as Jest.

Follow Test-Driven Development (TDD) and Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) practices where applicable.

Participate in code reviews to maintain software quality.

Identify and resolve application defects.

Ensure code reusability, maintainability, and performance.

6. CI/CD and Application Deployment

Use Git for source code management and version control.

Work with established source control workflows.

Contribute to CI/CD pipeline development and maintenance.

Assist with application deployments and production releases.

Collaborate with development teams to ensure smooth software delivery.

7. Agile and Scrum Collaboration

Participate in Scrum meetings and Agile development activities.

Collaborate with Product Owners, Development Leads, and delivery teams.

Work closely with onshore teams to understand and implement requirements.

Provide regular updates on assigned development tasks.

Contribute ideas and suggestions for continuous process improvements.

8. Knowledge Sharing and Team Support

Provide cross-training and technical knowledge transfer to team members.

Support other developers and application support teams when required.

Share technical knowledge and development best practices.

Collaborate with colleagues across different time zones and cultures.
