Job Summary

The Driver cum Forklift Operator is responsible for safely operating forklifts to load, unload, transport, and stack materials while also performing driving duties as assigned. The role requires adherence to safety regulations, efficient material handling, and timely transportation of goods within the facility or between designated locations.

Key Responsibilities
Operate forklifts safely for loading, unloading, lifting, and transporting materials.
Drive company vehicles for material or equipment transportation as required.
Move raw materials, finished goods, and equipment within the plant or warehouse.
Load and unload trucks while ensuring proper handling of materials.
Stack and store materials in designated storage areas.
Perform daily inspection of forklifts and company vehicles before operation.
Report mechanical issues or maintenance requirements promptly.
Follow all workplace safety policies and operating procedures.
Maintain accurate records of material movement and vehicle usage.
Coordinate with warehouse, production, and logistics teams for smooth operations.
Ensure proper housekeeping in work areas.
Comply with traffic regulations and company transportation policies.
Required Qualifications
Any Bachelor’s Degree.
Valid driving license (preferred).
Forklift operating certification or license is an advantage.
Experience
1–2 years of experience operating forklifts and driving commercial or company vehicles.
Required Skills
Forklift operation and material handling.
Safe driving practices.
Knowledge of warehouse operations.
Basic vehicle maintenance and inspection.
Ability to load, unload, and stack materials efficiently.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Time management and organizational abilities.
Awareness of workplace safety standards.

Experience in Engineering, Cement, or Metals industries.
Physically fit to perform material handling tasks.
Responsible, disciplined, and safety-conscious.
