Job Summary

Ventuno is looking for a skilled and proactive DevOps Engineer to join its cloud infrastructure team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing AWS infrastructure, automating infrastructure provisioning, maintaining CI/CD pipelines, and ensuring system reliability. The role involves working closely with developers to support application deployment and delivery across multiple client projects.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and automate AWS infrastructure using EC2, S3, IAM, VPC, EBS, ALB, ASG, CloudWatch, CloudTrail, Lambda, Lightsail, and related services.

Build, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar tools.

Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.

Monitor system health and performance using CloudWatch, Grafana, and Prometheus.

Configure and manage domain names and DNS records through Network Solutions, GoDaddy, and Amazon Route 53.

Host and secure websites using AWS EC2 and Application Load Balancers (ALB).

Configure and manage SSL certificates, including Let’s Encrypt and client-provided certificates.

Renew expiring SSL certificates through automated or manual processes.

Replace client-provided SSL certificates and configure HTTPS on Nginx or Apache web servers.

Perform basic Linux system administration, including mount point configuration, cron job management, disk usage audits, and user account setup.

Troubleshoot infrastructure and deployment issues to maintain system availability and reliability.

Required Skills and Technical Knowledge

Cloud Infrastructure

Hands-on knowledge of AWS services, including EC2, S3, IAM, VPC, EBS, ALB, ASG, CloudWatch, CloudTrail, Lambda, Lightsail, and Route 53.

Infrastructure as Code

Familiarity with Terraform and/or AWS CloudFormation.

CI/CD and Version Control

Knowledge of GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar CI/CD tools.

Familiarity with GitHub and/or GitLab.

Monitoring and Observability

Understanding of CloudWatch, Grafana, and Prometheus.

Linux and Web Servers

Basic Linux system administration skills.

Familiarity with Nginx and Apache web servers.

Understanding of DNS configuration, HTTPS, and SSL certificate management.

Scripting

Bash scripting skills are required.

Python scripting knowledge is an added advantage.

Ideal Candidate Profile
