Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer – Release Management to join a growing team in Chennai. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing CI/CD pipelines, automating software release processes, and coordinating deployments across multiple environments to ensure stable and efficient releases.

This role requires strong collaboration with development, QA, and infrastructure teams to streamline deployment workflows and maintain release reliability.

Key Responsibilities
Plan, coordinate, and execute end-to-end software releases across:
Development
QA
UAT
Production environments
Manage and optimize CI/CD pipelines using:
Jenkins
GitLab CI
Azure DevOps
Bamboo
Automate build, deployment, and release workflows.
Collaborate with Development, QA, and Infrastructure teams for smooth release execution.
Administer version control systems including:
Git
GitHub
GitLab
Implement and enforce Git branching strategies.
Troubleshoot build and deployment issues for rapid resolution.
Maintain release schedules, reports, documentation, and change logs.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
3–5 years of experience in DevOps and Release Management.
Hands-on expertise with CI/CD tools:
Jenkins
GitLab CI
Azure DevOps
Bamboo
Strong understanding of:
Git branching
Tagging
Versioning
Proficiency in Linux/Unix environments.
Scripting experience using:
Shell
Bash
Python
Strong coordination, analytical, and communication skills.
Preferred Skills
Docker
Kubernetes
Infrastructure automation tools:
Ansible
Terraform
