Job Summary

We are looking for a motivated and customer-oriented Desktop Support Engineer to join our team in Chennai. The candidate will provide on-site technical support to clients, diagnose and resolve computer hardware and software issues, and ensure the smooth functioning of desktop systems, laptops, and peripherals.

Key Responsibilities

Provide on-site technical support to clients at their locations.

Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve hardware and software issues on desktop computers and laptops.

Perform hardware repairs and replace faulty components, including hard drives, RAM, motherboards, and displays.

Troubleshoot and maintain peripherals such as keyboards, mice, and printers.

Verify product warranty details accurately before arranging repairs or replacements.

Maintain records of service calls, repairs performed, and spare parts used.

Ensure timely resolution of technical issues and maintain customer satisfaction.

Support the proper functioning of computer systems and related equipment.

Required Qualifications and Skills

Experience as a Desktop Support Engineer or in a similar technical support role.

One year of experience preferred.

Strong understanding of computer hardware and software.

Practical knowledge of hardware troubleshooting, repairs, and component replacement.

Ability to diagnose and resolve common desktop and laptop issues.

Good communication and customer service skills.

Willingness to provide on-site support at client locations.
