Job Summary

Hexagon Komputers is looking for a skilled and motivated Hardware and Networking Engineer to design, install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot computer hardware and network infrastructure. The ideal candidate should have strong technical knowledge of hardware systems, networking technologies, and IT support, with the ability to ensure high system availability, security, and performance.

Key Responsibilities
Install, configure, and maintain desktop computers, laptops, servers, printers, and other IT hardware.
Design, implement, and maintain LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, and network infrastructure.
Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network-related issues.
Perform preventive maintenance and regular health checks of computer systems and network devices.
Configure and troubleshoot routers, switches, firewalls, and network security devices.
Monitor network performance and optimize system efficiency.
Provide technical support and assistance to end-users for hardware and networking issues.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless integration of hardware and software solutions.
Implement and maintain network security policies and best practices.
Maintain documentation for IT assets, network topology, configurations, and maintenance activities.
Assist in backup management, disaster recovery planning, and business continuity initiatives.
Stay updated with emerging technologies and recommend infrastructure improvements.
Required Qualifications
Diploma in Computer Science, Electrical & Electronics, or
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
Required Skills
Strong knowledge of computer hardware installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
Experience with LAN, WAN, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, and wireless networking.
Good understanding of network architecture, protocols, and security best practices.
Experience configuring routers, switches, access points, and firewalls.
Proficiency with network monitoring and diagnostic tools.
Knowledge of Windows operating systems, hardware peripherals, and system administration.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and customer support abilities.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
Preferred Experience
Proven experience in hardware installation, maintenance, and networking support.
Experience with IT infrastructure management and technical support environments.
Relevant networking certifications (such as CCNA, Network+, or equivalent) will be an added advantage.
