Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled CNC Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team in Chennai. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up, operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting CNC machines to produce high-quality precision components while ensuring safety, efficiency, and adherence to quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Set up and operate CNC machines as per production requirements.
Monitor machine operations to ensure precision, accuracy, and consistent quality.
Perform basic machine maintenance and troubleshoot minor operational issues.
Select and optimize tooling and cutting parameters for efficient machining.
Inspect finished components to ensure dimensional accuracy and compliance with quality standards.
Identify and resolve production issues such as tool wear, machine malfunctions, and quality deviations.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following safety procedures.
Collaborate with supervisors and production teams to achieve production targets.
Required Skills
Proficiency in setting up, operating, and troubleshooting CNC machines.
Knowledge of CNC control panels, tool changers, and work-holding devices.
Understanding of machining principles, tooling concepts, and cutting parameters.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Basic knowledge of machine maintenance and preventive care.
Good problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Effective communication and teamwork skills.
Physical ability to stand for long periods, lift materials, and perform manual tasks.
