Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled CNC Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team in Chennai. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up, operating, troubleshooting, and maintaining CNC machines to manufacture precision components while ensuring high standards of quality, productivity, and safety.
Key Responsibilities
Set up and operate CNC machines according to production requirements.
Monitor machining operations to ensure precision and consistent quality.
Perform basic machine maintenance and troubleshoot minor operational issues.
Optimize machining processes by selecting appropriate tooling and cutting parameters.
Inspect finished components to ensure dimensional accuracy and quality standards.
Identify and resolve production issues such as tool wear, machine malfunctions, and quality deviations.
Follow workplace safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized work area.
Collaborate with production supervisors and team members to achieve production targets.
Required Skills
Proficiency in setting up, operating, and troubleshooting CNC machines.
Good understanding of CNC control panels, tool changers, and work-holding devices.
Knowledge of machining principles, tooling concepts, and cutting parameters.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Ability to identify and resolve machining and production issues.
Basic understanding of machine maintenance and preventive care.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift materials, and perform manual tasks.
Knowledge of safety standards and manufacturing best practices.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience operating CNC machines in a manufacturing environment.
Basic knowledge of engineering drawings and precision measuring instruments.
