Job Description – Civil Engineering Intern (1-Year Internship)

Position: Civil Engineering Intern

Duration: 1 Year

Job Type: Full-Time (Internship)

Locations: Mogappair & Tambaram, Chennai

Working Days: Monday to Saturday

Working Hours: 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM

Stipend: ₹8,000 per month

Job Summary

We are looking for enthusiastic Civil Engineering Interns who are eager to gain practical industry experience through a one-year internship program. This opportunity is designed to provide hands-on exposure to construction activities, technical training, and professional development under the guidance of experienced engineers.

Key Responsibilities
Assist senior engineers with day-to-day civil engineering activities.
Support site supervision and project execution tasks.
Participate in technical training and learning programs.
Assist in preparing project documentation and reports.
Learn construction methods, materials, and quality standards.
Observe and support site inspections and progress monitoring.
Help maintain project records and documentation.
Follow safety procedures and company policies.
Coordinate with project teams as required.
Develop practical engineering and technical skills throughout the internship.
Eligibility Criteria
Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (or currently pursuing/completed, as applicable).
Basic understanding of civil engineering concepts.
Willingness to learn and work in a site-based environment.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Positive attitude and eagerness to build a career in civil engineering.
