Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and technically proficient CCTV Technician to install, maintain, and troubleshoot surveillance and security systems across multiple sites. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with CCTV systems, electrical wiring, networking concepts, and security infrastructure installation.
This role requires strong problem-solving abilities, technical expertise, and the ability to work in dynamic installation and construction environments.
Key Responsibilities
Install and configure CCTV surveillance systems based on technical specifications and system designs.
Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of existing CCTV equipment and infrastructure.
Work with:
Electrical wiring
Telecommunication cabling
Surveillance hardware
Interpret technical schematics, wiring diagrams, and system design documents.
Use hand tools and power tools for equipment installation and mounting.
Coordinate with construction and infrastructure teams during site installations.
Ensure installations comply with company standards and safety regulations.
Diagnose and resolve system faults using IDS (Intrusion Detection System) tools.
Provide technical support for system upgrades, modifications, and maintenance activities.

Proven experience in CCTV system installation and maintenance.

Ability to read and interpret:

Hands-on experience with:

Equipment Mounting
Knowledge of telecommunication infrastructure and system design principles.
Familiarity with IDS (Intrusion Detection System) technologies is an added advantage.
Previous experience in security systems or telecommunication installations preferred.
Strong troubleshooting and technical problem-solving skills.
