What the job actually is

Medical Coding = converting patient reports into standardized codes (ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS) used for billing and insurance.

👉 It’s a non-clinical, office-based job (no patient care).

You can apply if you are from:

Life science / medical / paramedical background
(BSc, MSc, Pharmacy, Nursing, Physiotherapy, etc.)

👉 Freshers usually start as Trainee Medical Coder.

💰 Salary reality check
Fresher: ₹10K – ₹15K/month (typical start)
With experience: ₹20K – ₹40K+
