About the Role
As a Sales & Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for expanding DotPe’s merchant network by selling digital commerce, POS, ordering, payment, and business management solutions to offline businesses.
This is a high-growth, field-oriented sales role where you will directly contribute to merchant acquisition and revenue generation.
Experience Required
3–6 years of sales experience in:
Retail Sales
Hospitality Sales
F&B Aggregators
POS Solutions
ERP Software Sales
SaaS Sales
Merchant Acquisition
FinTech Sales
Target Industries
You will engage with merchants across:
Restaurants & Cafes
Grocery Stores
Educational Institutions
Hospitals
Shopping Malls
Multiplexes
Retail Chains
Other Offline Businesses
Key Responsibilities
Business Development
Identify and acquire new merchants.
Generate leads through market mapping and field visits.
Present DotPe’s product suite to prospective clients.
Build a strong sales pipeline.
Sales & Revenue Generation
Drive end-to-end sales cycles.
Negotiate contracts and close deals.
Consistently achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
Merchant Relationship Management
Build long-term relationships with merchants.
Understand customer requirements and recommend solutions.
Serve as the key point of contact throughout the engagement.
Market Expansion
Conduct daily market research and competitor analysis.
Identify new business opportunities in assigned territories.
Develop strategies for merchant acquisition and retention.
