Job Overview

LTIMindtree is hiring an Android Malware Analyst to analyze Android applications from a cybersecurity perspective. This is not a pure Android development role. The ideal candidate should have a strong Android and Java background with an interest in malware analysis, reverse engineering, and mobile application security.

Key Responsibilities
Analyze Android applications for malware and security threats.
Investigate application behavior and identify malicious activities.
Understand Android application architecture and component interactions.
Perform debugging and network traffic analysis.
Reverse engineer APK files and inspect application code.
Analyze obfuscated Android applications.
Use mobile security and reverse engineering tools to identify vulnerabilities and malicious behavior.
Work closely with cybersecurity teams on malware investigations and threat analysis.
Required Qualifications
Experience: 2–5 years
Strong knowledge of:
Java
Android SDK
Experience in:
Android application development or
Mobile security analysis
Good understanding of:
Android internals
Android application architecture
Android component lifecycle
Knowledge of:
Object-Oriented Programming (OOP)

Familiarity with Android device features:
Camera
GPS
Maps
Experience using debugging and network monitoring tools.
