Job Summary

Infometry is looking for a skilled and enthusiastic Junior Python Developer with a minimum of 1 year of experience to join its development team in Bangalore.

The ideal candidate should have a strong foundation in Python programming, Data Structures, Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), SQL databases, and Python libraries such as NumPy, Pandas, and Requests.

The selected candidate will contribute to Python-based software development, data processing, and analytics-related projects while collaborating with experienced developers and technical teams.

Key Responsibilities

1. Python Application Development

Develop, test, and maintain Python-based applications.

Write clean, efficient, reusable, and maintainable Python code.

Apply Python programming concepts and data structures to solve technical problems.

Implement Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles in application development.

Support application debugging, troubleshooting, and performance improvement.

2. Data Processing and Analysis

Work with Python libraries such as NumPy, Pandas, and Requests.

Process and manipulate structured data using Python.

Handle data formats such as JSON, XML, and CSV.

Support data extraction, transformation, and processing activities.

Assist in developing data-driven applications and analytical solutions.

3. Database Management

Work with SQL and relational databases.

Write and execute database queries.

Support database connectivity and data retrieval using Python.

Maintain data accuracy and consistency during processing.

4. Data Visualization

Work with or gain exposure to data visualization tools such as Tableau, Looker, and Power BI.

Assist in preparing reports and visual representations of data.

Collaborate with analytics teams to support reporting requirements.

5. Version Control and Collaboration

Use Git for source code management and version control.

Collaborate with developers and other team members on assigned projects.

Participate in technical discussions and problem-solving activities.

Follow software development best practices and coding standards.
