Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled Python DevOps Engineer with strong hands-on experience in Python programming, shell scripting, GitHub Actions, CI/CD automation, AWS, and container orchestration technologies.
The ideal candidate should be proficient in Jenkins, Argo CD, Argo Rollouts, Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift, and Istio, with experience in infrastructure automation, monitoring, and logging solutions.
The selected candidate will be responsible for developing automation scripts, managing CI/CD pipelines, supporting cloud infrastructure, and improving application deployment, reliability, and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
1. Python Development and Automation
Develop and maintain automation scripts using Python.
Write efficient shell scripts for infrastructure and deployment automation.
Build reusable automation tools to streamline DevOps operations.
Troubleshoot scripting and automation-related issues.
Improve the efficiency and reliability of development workflows.
2. CI/CD Pipeline Development
Design, develop, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.
Work with Jenkins for build and deployment automation.
Automate application testing, integration, and deployment processes.
Implement reliable deployment workflows.
Troubleshoot pipeline failures and optimize execution performance.
3. GitOps and Deployment Management
Implement GitOps-based deployment workflows using Argo CD.
Work with Argo Rollouts for application rollout management.
Support controlled application deployments and release processes.
Improve deployment consistency and reliability across environments.
4. Containerization and Orchestration
Build and manage containerized applications using Docker.
Deploy and maintain applications on Kubernetes.
Work with Red Hat OpenShift environments.
Support container orchestration, application scaling, and troubleshooting.
Work with Istio for service mesh-related requirements.
5. AWS Cloud Infrastructure
Support application deployment and infrastructure operations in AWS.
Work with cloud-based development and deployment environments.
Troubleshoot cloud infrastructure and application issues.
Contribute to reliable and scalable cloud operations.
6. Infrastructure as Code
Develop and maintain infrastructure configurations using Terraform.
Automate infrastructure provisioning and management.
Support consistent infrastructure deployment across environments.
Maintain reusable infrastructure automation configurations.
7. Monitoring and Observability
Implement and maintain monitoring solutions using Prometheus and Grafana.
Create and manage dashboards for infrastructure and application monitoring.
Monitor system health, availability, and performance.
Investigate operational issues using monitoring data.
8. Logging and Troubleshooting
Work with Elasticsearch and Splunk for log management and analysis.
Analyze application and infrastructure logs.
Identify root causes of deployment and operational issues.
Support troubleshooting and incident resolution.
9. Team Collaboration
Collaborate with software development, infrastructure, and operations teams.
Support DevOps best practices and automation initiatives.
Contribute to technical discussions and process improvements.
Maintain documentation for pipelines, scripts, and infrastructure configurations.

Knowledge of Elasticsearch and Splunk logging platforms.
Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities.
Good communication and team collaboration skills.
Ability to support automation and deployment activities across development environments.
Good to Have
Knowledge of Temporal for workflow orchestration.
Experience improving cloud-native application reliability.
Familiarity with GitOps-based deployment practices.
Experience developing reusable Python automation tools.
