Job Summary

TCS is hiring experienced professionals for a Service Provider project focused on Cisco Mobility technologies, 4G/5G core network architecture, and cloud-native mobility infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have experience deploying, integrating, and troubleshooting Cisco Mobility solutions, along with knowledge of virtualization, Kubernetes, OpenShift, and Network Functions Virtualization (NFV).

The role also involves customer engagement, technical documentation, solution architecture alignment, and supporting technology transitions for service provider networks.

Key Responsibilities

Deploy, integrate, configure, and troubleshoot Cisco Mobility solutions.

Work with Cisco mobility gateways, including PGW, SGW, MGW, and SAEGW.

Support 4G/5G mobility core network architecture and related call flows and protocols.

Work with cloud-native mobility infrastructure and virtualization technologies.

Support mobility deployments using Red Hat OpenShift, Kubernetes, Docker, and related platforms.

Understand and support NFV and Cloud-Native Functions (CNFs) in service provider environments.

Assist with deploying Cisco Mobility solutions in private and public cloud environments.

Use automation and scripting tools such as Ansible and Python to manage cloud-based mobility workloads.

Create, review, and maintain Method of Procedure (MOP) documents.

Prepare and deliver customer documentation, technical collateral, portals, and knowledge-transfer materials.

Align technical deliverables with customer business outcomes and requirements.

Support customer technology transitions and contribute to solution architecture decisions.

Follow company policies, processes, and relevant tools to support Professional Services objectives.

Required Technical Skills

1. Cisco Mobility Technologies

Fundamental to intermediate understanding of Cisco Mobility technologies.

Experience or knowledge of Cisco gateways:

PGW (Packet Data Network Gateway)

SGW (Serving Gateway)

MGW (Media Gateway)

SAEGW (System Architecture Evolution Gateway)

Understanding of 4G/5G mobility core network architecture.

Knowledge of mobility call flows and protocols, including GTP and Diameter.

2. Cloud-Native Infrastructure and Virtualization

Experience or understanding of Red Hat OpenShift, Kubernetes, and Docker.

Familiarity with cloud-native deployments for mobility solutions.

Understanding of Network Functions Virtualization (NFV).

Knowledge of Cloud-Native Functions (CNFs) in service provider networks.

Familiarity with private and public cloud deployments.

3. Automation and Scripting

Basic scripting or automation skills.

Familiarity with Python and Ansible for managing cloud-based mobility workloads.

4. Deployment and Technical Documentation

Experience in deploying, integrating, and troubleshooting Cisco Mobility solutions.

Experience creating and reviewing MOP documents.

Ability to prepare technical documentation and deliver knowledge-transfer sessions.

5. Customer and Professional Services Skills

Ability to align technical solutions with customer business requirements.

Experience supporting technology transitions and solution architecture improvements.

Strong documentation, communication, and collaboration skills.

Ability to follow established company processes and delivery standards.

Experience Requirements

Required Experience: 5–10 years.

Background in telecommunications, service provider networks, or mobility core technologies is relevant to the role.

Practical experience with Cisco Mobility solutions and cloud-native infrastructure is beneficial.
