Embedded Engineer – Device Support

Key Responsibilities

Develop programming algorithms to support Non-Volatile Memory devices.
Update existing algorithms based on specification changes from semiconductor manufacturers.
Analyze device-support requests and assess technical feasibility.
Identify required electrical and software requirements.
Design and release Socket Module adapter boards.
Evaluate incoming device-support requests.
Apply standard engineering techniques and AI tools for research, development, and troubleshooting.
Work with QA and software teams on specialized testing requirements.
Collaborate with Technical Support to resolve device-support issues.
Troubleshoot and fix issues reported by QA or customers.
Maintain technical relationships with semiconductor manufacturer engineers.

C / C++ / Assembly
Python
Embedded systems and device programming.
EPROM, Flash, Microcontrollers, and PLDs.
Communication protocols:
SPI
I2C
UART
SWD
JTAG
Signal integrity concepts.
Ground bounce and power-supply noise.
Ability to leverage AI for research, coding, and troubleshooting.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Multitasking and attention to detail.
Strong written and verbal communication.
