Cable & Wire Harness Manufacturing Engineer

Qualification: Diploma / B.E. in Electrical, Electronics, or Mechanical Engineering

Shift: Day shift
Salary: ₹12,000–₹17,000/month

Key Responsibilities

Plan and manage cable and wire harness manufacturing processes.
Prepare/review technical drawings, wiring diagrams, BOMs, and assembly instructions.
Select cables, connectors, terminals, sleeves, and ensure correct crimping and soldering.
Set up workstations, tools, jigs, and optimize assembly lines.
Perform in-process and final quality inspections.
Ensure compliance with customer requirements and IPC/UL standards.
Coordinate with Design, Procurement, and QA teams to resolve technical/supply issues.
Train and guide technicians/operators on assembly and quality requirements.

Required Skills

Cable/wire harness manufacturing experience.
Knowledge of IPC/WHMA-A-620 standards preferred.
Hands-on knowledge of crimping tools, soldering, continuity testing, and insulation resistance testing.
Ability to read wiring schematics, layout diagrams, and customer specifications.
