Key Responsibilities
Conduct credit audits for Wholesale Banking and SME segments.
Review the complete credit lifecycle, including:
Pre-sanction assessment
Post-sanction compliance
Disbursement
Credit monitoring
Lead or participate in business credit audits and manage a team of 2–4 auditors.
Ensure timely commencement and closure of audits.
Prepare and maintain comprehensive audit working papers.
Prepare and submit audit reports within prescribed timelines.
Ensure timely submission of RBI data, Tranche III information, and other regulatory requirements.
Ensure audit reports have strong:
Data accuracy and consistency
Policy and process coverage
Revenue assurance
Risk coverage
Internal-control assessment
Conduct process reviews, thematic audits, checklist reviews, and special audits.
Coordinate with concurrent auditors and monitor the quality of their reports.
Review developments in credit-related areas and provide assurance on regulatory and internal control requirements.
Develop audit checklists and test processes to identify potential risks, bottlenecks, and control gaps.
Recommend improvements to processes and systems to management.

The role is best suited to candidates with experience in banking credit audit, particularly Wholesale Banking/SME credit, with exposure to RBI regulatory requirements, concurrent audits, credit processes, audit reporting, and team leadership.
