Internal Auditor – Lorry Hire & Freight Audit

Key Responsibilities
Conduct internal audits at branches to verify compliance with company policies and procedures.
Prepare detailed audit reports covering:
Audit findings
Recommendations
Corrective action plans
Review freight bills received from customers and identify discrepancies.
Negotiate settlements where freight-billing discrepancies arise.
Work closely with branch teams to resolve issues related to lorry hire operations.
Support operational and financial controls within the transportation business.
Candidate Profile
5–10 years of experience in auditing or a related field.
Experience specifically in Lorry Hire & Freight Audit is relevant.
Strong understanding of:
Internal audit principles
Audit processes
Transportation-industry regulations
Freight and lorry-hire operations
