Intuitor – Sr. Systems Engineer (NMS)

Location: Bangalore

Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related technical field
Role: Network Monitoring / NMS / Managed Services

Core technical requirements:

ScienceLogic EM7 — primary requirement
Nimsoft, Prognosis, EMC Smarts
Cisco and other networking equipment
Windows & Linux
MySQL, SQL, MariaDB
Network monitoring, event and incident management
Routing & Switching
Networking security, wireless, optical networking and related areas

Key responsibilities:

Design, configure, implement and maintain customer network monitoring infrastructure.
Provide L2/L3 escalation support for complex NMS issues.
Review EM7 configurations, events and incidents and recommend improvements.
Lead customer NMS implementation projects from planning through operation.
Perform EM7 device configuration and advanced troubleshooting.
Provide remote technical support through the NOC.
Coordinate with vendors and third-party providers.
Mentor junior/operations engineers and provide technical leadership.
Act as the primary technical contact for managed-service customers.

Best-fit profiles: Senior NMS Engineer, Network Monitoring Engineer, ScienceLogic/EM7 Engineer, NOC L3 Engineer, Network Operations Engineer, or Senior Network Engineer with substantial EM7/ScienceLogic experience.
