Position: Project Engineer – Electrical
Location: Chennai
Experience: 7+ Years
Industry: Construction / Hospitality / High-end Commercial Projects

Qualification
B.E. / B.Tech / Diploma – Electrical Engineering
Key Responsibilities
Supervise electrical project execution at site covering:
HT/LT systems
Lighting
Power
ELV systems
Review electrical drawings, BOQs and technical specifications
Coordinate with MEP consultants, architects and design teams
Manage installation, testing and commissioning of:
Transformers
DG sets
UPS
Electrical panels
Cabling
Monitor subcontractors and vendors for quality and timely execution
Conduct site inspections and ensure project schedules are met
Maintain progress reports, technical documentation and as-built drawings
Ensure compliance with CEIG, TNEB, IS, IEC and NBC standards
Coordinate with procurement and planning teams for materials and resources
Required Experience & Skills
7+ years of construction-industry experience
2–3 years of hospitality project experience preferred, particularly hotels/resorts/high-end commercial projects
Strong electrical installation, testing and commissioning knowledge
ELV knowledge is an advantage:
Fire Alarm
CCTV
Access Control
BMS
AutoCAD, MS Office, MS Project
Primavera knowledge is an added advantage
Strong leadership, communication and coordination skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks under pressure
