🎯 Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Plant Manager – HR, IR & Admin to lead the HR, Industrial Relations, and administrative functions at the Bangalore manufacturing plant.

The role will involve driving the plant HR strategy, maintaining strong industrial relations, managing union interactions, ensuring manpower availability, building employee engagement, and supporting a productive and harmonious workplace.

🔑 Key Responsibilities

• Lead overall HR, Industrial Relations & Administration for the Bangalore plant
• Execute the plant’s HR strategy in alignment with business objectives
• Manage union relationships and long-term settlements
• Drive employee engagement and grievance redressal initiatives
• Ensure 100% manpower availability, including permanent and contingent workforce
• Manage industrial relations and resolve workplace conflicts effectively
• Ensure compliance with applicable labour laws and statutory requirements
• Implement and strengthen World Class Manufacturing (WCM) practices, particularly the People Development pillar
• Develop training calendars and identify skill gaps
• Drive skill development and competency improvement initiatives
• Increase employee participation in continuous improvement programs
• Support CSR initiatives at the plant level
• Maintain effective relationships with internal stakeholders and local authorities

👥 Candidate Requirements

✔ 12–15 years of experience in manufacturing / industrial environments
✔ Strong shop-floor Industrial Relations (IR) experience
✔ Hands-on experience in union management and long-term settlements
✔ Strong knowledge of labour laws and statutory compliance
✔ Experience in employee engagement and grievance handling
✔ Experience managing contingent workforce and manpower planning
✔ Knowledge of WCM practices, training systems, and skill assessments
✔ Strong leadership, communication, influencing, and interpersonal skills
✔ Analytical, proactive, self-motivated, and high-energy professional
✔ Strong team-management capabilities

🎓 Educational Qualification

Preferred:
• MSW
• MBA – Human Resources

Added Advantage:
• BL / LLB
