About the Role

Oxford University Press (OUP), a globally recognized leader in educational publishing, is looking for an Area Manager – International Schools to drive business growth across Telangana. The role involves promoting OUP’s international curriculum and digital learning solutions, managing school relationships, supporting educators, and achieving sales objectives. This is an excellent opportunity for professionals passionate about education, customer engagement, and consultative sales.

Key Responsibilities
Build and maintain strong relationships with international schools, educators, and distributors.
Provide end-to-end customer support, including order tracking, teaching assistance, and organizing workshops and training sessions.
Present OUP’s print and digital educational solutions to school management and teaching staff.
Promote Oxford International Curriculum, OxfordAQA, and other international curriculum products.
Drive adoption of digital learning platforms such as MyMaths and Oxford Reading Buddy.
Manage distributor accounts, ensure timely collections, and achieve collection targets.
Prepare monthly and bi-monthly sales forecasts and conduct weekly budget reviews.
Record customer interactions, sales feedback, and product adoptions in the sales tracking system.
Stay updated on current and upcoming OUP products and educational solutions.
Act as the primary point of contact for schools and distributors regarding international education products.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
Minimum 3 years of relevant sales or business development experience.
Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Good understanding of the education sector, schools, assessments, and curriculum.
Proven consultative or solution-based selling skills.
Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
Proficiency in Salesforce, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working with international curricula such as Cambridge (CIE), IB, Oxford International Curriculum, or OxfordAQA.
Knowledge of digital education platforms and e-learning solutions.
Strong relationship management and customer engagement skills.
