Job Summary

We are seeking a qualified, detail-oriented, and customer-focused Pharmacist to join our healthcare team. The successful candidate will be responsible for dispensing medications accurately, counseling patients on the safe use of medicines, managing pharmacy inventory, and ensuring compliance with all pharmaceutical regulations while delivering high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities
Dispense prescribed medications accurately and efficiently in accordance with physicians’ prescriptions.
Review prescriptions for dosage accuracy, drug interactions, allergies, and contraindications.
Counsel patients regarding medication usage, dosage, storage, precautions, and potential side effects.
Maintain pharmacy inventory, monitor stock levels, and conduct regular expiry date checks.
Ensure proper storage and handling of medicines according to regulatory standards.
Maintain accurate records of prescriptions, medication dispensing, and patient information.
Ensure compliance with all legal, ethical, and regulatory pharmacy requirements.
Collaborate with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care.
Handle medication-related queries from patients and healthcare staff.
Maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety within the pharmacy.
Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives and pharmacy audits.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm) or Master of Pharmacy (M.Pharm).
Valid State Pharmacy Council registration/license is mandatory.
Experience
0–1 year of experience in a hospital or retail pharmacy is preferred.
Fresh graduates with the required qualification and registration may also be considered.
