Job Summary

A Medical Coder is responsible for converting patient medical records into standardized diagnosis and procedure codes used for healthcare billing, insurance reimbursement, and clinical data management. Key Responsibilities
Review patient medical records and clinical documentation.
Assign accurate diagnosis and procedure codes based on medical records.
Ensure compliance with medical coding standards and healthcare regulations.
Verify documentation for completeness and coding accuracy.
Maintain confidentiality of patient health information.
Support healthcare billing and insurance claim processes.
Meet productivity and quality targets.
Collaborate with healthcare professionals when clarification is required.
