Job Summary

Instrumentation and Control Solutions (ICS) is seeking experienced IT Desktop Support Engineers to support IT operations in a regulated pharmaceutical manufacturing environment. The role involves managing desktop systems, plant IT infrastructure, user administration, compliance with pharmaceutical regulations, and ensuring reliable IT support across manufacturing and quality control environments.

Key Responsibilities
Desktop & End-User Support
Provide desktop and end-user technical support across manufacturing and quality control environments.
Install, configure, and maintain desktop computers, laptops, printers, and peripheral devices.
Troubleshoot hardware, software, operating system, and network-related issues.
Support users with application installation and system configuration.
Manufacturing & Plant IT Support
Support Manufacturing IT (MFG-IT), Plant IT, and QC-IT systems.
Maintain IT infrastructure supporting production and laboratory operations.
Coordinate with business users to resolve operational IT issues.
Ensure system availability and reliability within manufacturing environments.
User Administration
Create, modify, and deactivate user accounts.
Manage user access rights and permissions.
Support password resets and account-related requests.
Ensure compliance with organizational access control policies.
Backup & System Administration
Monitor and manage backup operations.
Verify successful backup completion and recovery readiness.
Maintain system inventory records for IT assets.
Track hardware and software lifecycle information.
Compliance & Documentation
Follow pharmaceutical IT Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Ensure compliance with pharmaceutical regulatory requirements.
Maintain documentation for IT systems and validation activities.
Support audit readiness and regulatory inspections.
Software & Application Support
Support regulated software applications used within pharmaceutical environments.
Assist users with application issues and troubleshooting.
Coordinate with application vendors when required.

Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
Preferred Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate should:

Have hands-on experience supporting Manufacturing or Plant IT environments.
Understand pharmaceutical regulatory requirements and compliance standards.
Be familiar with validated systems and regulated IT environments.
Possess strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Be able to manage user administration and IT asset inventory effectively.
Demonstrate excellent communication and documentation skills.
