Job Summary

DBS is seeking a skilled Power BI / SQL Developer to design, develop, and maintain data architecture solutions that support business intelligence and reporting requirements. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in SQL, Power BI, ETL processes, and data warehousing, with the ability to transform complex business requirements into scalable reporting solutions.

Key Responsibilities
Build, manage, and execute data architecture solutions.
Design and develop data models for reporting and analytics.
Plan, develop, and implement ETL processes.
Validate data accuracy and ensure high-quality reporting outputs.
Create interactive dashboards and business reports using Microsoft Power BI.
Monitor and optimize SQL queries, data loads, and database performance.
Develop and maintain data warehouse schedules and processes.
Prepare functional specifications based on business requirements.
Review code quality and ensure best development practices.
Provide technical expertise in data warehousing and business intelligence.
Collaborate with cross-functional global teams.
Share technical knowledge and support team members.
Required Skills
Strong proficiency in SQL with the ability to write complex queries.
Hands-on experience in Microsoft Power BI development.
Knowledge of Data Warehouse Design and Data Mining.
Experience with ETL Frameworks.
Understanding of OLAP concepts.
Experience with SSRS and SSIS.
Familiarity with BI tools such as Microsoft Power BI and Oracle BI.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and documentation abilities.
Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
Adaptability to changing business priorities.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Statistics, Engineering, or a related discipline.
2–5 years of relevant experience in SQL and Power BI development.
