Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Compliance Executive to manage statutory compliance activities for a hospital in Chennai. The role involves ensuring compliance with labor laws, maintaining statutory records, handling employee benefit processes, coordinating with government authorities, and managing hospital license renewals. Candidates with recruitment-focused HR experience alone are not suitable for this role.
Key Responsibilities
Statutory Compliance
Ensure compliance with labor laws and statutory regulations.
Maintain statutory registers and compliance records.
Monitor adherence to applicable employment laws and hospital regulations.
Coordinate statutory filings and documentation.
Payroll & Employee Benefits
Prepare employee leave and attendance reports.
Process full and final settlements for exiting employees.
Guide employees on:
Provident Fund (PF)
Employees’ State Insurance (ESI)
Gratuity
Superannuation benefits
Coordinate employee benefit documentation and claims.
Government Liaison
Visit government offices such as:
Labour Office
PF Office
ESI Office
Coordinate with statutory authorities regarding compliance matters.
Follow up on approvals, submissions, and inspections.
License & Documentation Management
Manage renewal of hospital licenses.
Maintain updated statutory registers and compliance records.
Ensure all mandatory documentation is current and audit-ready.
Compliance Reporting
Prepare compliance reports for management.
Maintain documentation for inspections and audits.
Support internal and external compliance reviews.

Be comfortable coordinating with government departments and handling compliance inspections.
Possess strong documentation and reporting skills.
