Job Summary

WBC Software Lab is seeking a Software Engineer / Analyst to develop Android and iPhone mobile applications. The selected candidate will be responsible for understanding client requirements, designing prototypes, developing mobile applications using native platforms and hybrid technologies, integrating web services, and delivering high-quality software within project timelines.

Key Responsibilities
Requirement Analysis
Gather and understand client and business requirements.
Analyze project scope and prepare technical solutions.
Develop prototypes based on client needs.
Mobile Application Development
Design, develop, and maintain Android and iOS applications.
Build applications using both native and hybrid mobile technologies.
Ensure applications meet functional and quality requirements.
Android Development
Develop Android applications using the Android SDK.
Build and maintain Android features following development best practices.
iOS Development
Develop iPhone applications using Xcode and Objective-C.
Optimize applications for performance and usability.
Hybrid Mobile Development
Develop cross-platform applications using:
PhoneGap
jQuery Mobile
Create applications compatible with multiple mobile devices.
Web Service Integration
Consume and integrate REST/Web Services with mobile applications.
Exchange data securely between mobile applications and backend systems.
Frontend Development
Develop mobile interfaces using:
HTML5
JavaScript
AJAX
CSS
XML/XSD
Application Testing
Perform unit testing using physical devices and simulators.
Identify and fix application defects.
Ensure application quality before deployment.
Documentation
Prepare technical documentation.
Maintain project-related development documents.
Support QA and testing activities.
App Deployment
Publish Android and iOS applications to their respective app stores.
Support application updates and maintenance.
