Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer to oversee the maintenance, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement of electrical systems and plant utilities. The ideal candidate should have expertise in HVAC systems, compressors, DG sets, chillers, boilers, machine installation, and power distribution systems. This role is responsible for ensuring maximum equipment uptime, electrical safety, regulatory compliance, and efficient plant operations.

Key Responsibilities
Electrical Maintenance
Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance of electrical systems and equipment.
Diagnose and resolve electrical faults to minimize production downtime.
Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) for equipment failures and implement corrective actions.
Maintain detailed maintenance records, reports, and equipment history.
Utilities Management
Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot utility systems including:
HVAC Systems
Air Compressors
Diesel Generator (DG) Sets
Chillers
Boilers
Other plant utility equipment
Ensure optimal performance and reliability of utility systems.
Machine Installation & Commissioning
Supervise installation, testing, and commissioning of new machinery and equipment.
Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and internal teams during installation projects.
Verify proper electrical connections and system functionality before production.
Power Distribution & Electrical Systems
Monitor and maintain:
LT/HT Panels
Transformers
Electrical Distribution Systems
Control Panels
Ensure uninterrupted power supply and efficient electrical distribution.
Perform periodic inspections and preventive maintenance of electrical infrastructure.
Automation & Control
Troubleshoot PLC-based control systems and electrical control panels.
Interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical drawings.
Support automation-related maintenance activities.
Safety & Compliance
Ensure compliance with electrical safety regulations, statutory requirements, and company policies.
Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and industry standards.
Participate in internal and external audits related to electrical systems and compliance.
Promote safe work practices and maintain proper documentation.
Documentation & Reporting
Maintain preventive maintenance schedules and service records.
Prepare breakdown reports and corrective action reports.
Coordinate maintenance planning and spare parts management.
Required Qualifications
Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical Engineering.
Experience
Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical maintenance within:
Manufacturing
Medical Device
Pharmaceutical
Life Sciences industries.

Preferred Qualification
C License (Electrical Supervisor License) will be an added advantage.
