Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled CNC Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team in Chennai. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up, operating, troubleshooting, and maintaining CNC machines to manufacture precision components while ensuring high standards of quality, safety, and productivity.
Key Responsibilities
Set up and operate CNC machines according to production requirements.
Monitor machining operations to ensure accurate and consistent output.
Perform basic machine maintenance and troubleshoot minor machine issues.
Optimize machining processes by selecting appropriate tooling and cutting parameters.
Inspect finished components to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
Identify and resolve production issues such as tool wear, machine malfunctions, and quality deviations.
Follow workplace safety procedures and maintain a clean working environment.
Collaborate with production supervisors and team members to achieve production targets.
Required Skills
Proficiency in setting up, operating, and troubleshooting CNC machines.
Good understanding of CNC control panels, tool changers, and work-holding devices.
Knowledge of machining principles, tooling, and cutting parameters.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Basic knowledge of machine maintenance and preventive care.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to stand for extended periods, lift materials, and perform manual tasks.
Knowledge of manufacturing safety standards and procedures.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience operating CNC machines in a manufacturing environment.
Basic understanding of engineering drawings and precision measurement tools.
