Job Overview

Cortex Consultants is seeking an experienced Application Security Developer with a strong software development background and hands-on expertise in application security tools. The role focuses on integrating security into the software development lifecycle (Secure SDLC), identifying vulnerabilities, and improving application security posture.

Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement secure application security practices.
Integrate security testing into the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
Perform static, open-source, and dynamic security assessments.
Identify, analyze, and remediate application vulnerabilities.
Collaborate with development teams to implement secure coding practices.
Support application security initiatives using industry-standard security tools.
Contribute to maintaining a security-first development environment.
Required Qualifications
Experience: 5+ years in Application Security Development.
Strong software development background.
Hands-on experience with:
Fortify (Static Application Security Testing – SAST)
Black Duck (Software Composition Analysis – SCA)
OWASP ZAP (Dynamic Application Security Testing – DAST)
