Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer cum Linux System Administrator with strong expertise in Amazon Web Services (AWS), Linux administration, automation, CI/CD, Docker, Puppet, and cloud infrastructure management.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, deploying, monitoring, automating, and maintaining highly available LAMP-based cloud environments while collaborating closely with development teams to support software delivery and infrastructure automation.

Key Responsibilities
Cloud Infrastructure Management
Design, deploy, configure, and administer AWS cloud infrastructure.
Manage Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) and Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) environments.
Ensure high availability, scalability, security, and performance.
Monitor and optimize cloud infrastructure.
Linux System Administration
Install, configure, administer, and maintain Linux servers.
Perform:

Security patching
Backup and restore
Snapshot management
Log rotation
System maintenance
Configure:
Users & Groups
File permissions
SSH

Firewall
Cron jobs
Apache Virtual Hosts

Design and maintain DevOps lifecycle:

Build and maintain Jenkins CI/CD pipelines.
Manage Git repositories.
Support application deployment in QA and Production environments.
Infrastructure Automation
Automate infrastructure using Puppet.
Build automation scripts using:

Document infrastructure and maintenance procedures.
Improve deployment and maintenance automation continuously.
Containerization
Build Docker images.
Create Dockerfiles.
Maintain Docker Compose environments.
Support developers using Docker on Ubuntu systems.
Manage local development and QA container environments.
Monitoring & Troubleshooting
Monitor infrastructure using Nagios.
Analyze:

Troubleshoot application, infrastructure, and network issues.
Perform load analysis and security assessments.
Database Administration
Manage MySQL backup and restore.
Configure caching technologies.
