Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Radiology Medical Coder (ICD) with strong expertise in radiology coding and ICD classification. The ideal candidate should possess in-depth knowledge of human anatomy and physiology, ensure accurate coding of medical records, and maintain compliance with coding standards and healthcare regulations.
Key Responsibilities
Review radiology reports and assign accurate ICD codes.
Perform medical coding for radiology procedures in accordance with industry standards.
Ensure coding accuracy, completeness, and compliance with applicable guidelines.
Interpret clinical documentation and convert diagnoses into appropriate ICD codes.
Maintain productivity and quality targets while minimizing coding errors.
Collaborate with physicians and internal teams to clarify documentation when required.
Stay updated with the latest ICD coding guidelines and healthcare regulations.
Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with data security policies.
Required Skills
Strong experience in Radiology Coding.
Hands-on expertise in ICD Coding.
Excellent knowledge of Human Anatomy and Physiology.
Strong analytical and attention-to-detail skills.
Ability to interpret clinical documentation accurately.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Qualifications
Minimum 2 years of experience in Radiology Medical Coding.
Relevant certification in Medical Coding is preferred.
Strong understanding of medical terminology and coding guidelines.
