Job Summary

Santa Monica Study Abroad is looking for a professional, customer-focused, and highly motivated Student Counsellor to guide students through their overseas education journey. The ideal candidate will provide academic counselling, assist students in selecting suitable study destinations and programs, and support them throughout the admission process while delivering an excellent customer experience.

Key Responsibilities
Counsel students regarding overseas education opportunities and study programs.
Understand students’ academic backgrounds, career goals, and preferences.
Recommend suitable universities, colleges, and courses.
Explain admission procedures, eligibility requirements, and application processes.
Assist students with documentation and application submissions.
Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective students and parents.
Follow up on inquiries and convert leads into enrollments.
Coordinate with universities and internal departments to ensure smooth processing.
Maintain accurate student records and update CRM systems.
Participate in educational seminars, promotional events, and student engagement activities.

Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification.
Experience in education counselling, customer service, sales, or study abroad consulting is preferred.
Freshers with excellent communication skills and a passion for counselling may also be considered.
