Hiring: Senior Design Engineer – Electrical

📍 Location: Bangalore, India
🎓 Qualification: B.E. in Electrical Engineering
💼 Experience: 8–15 Years

Job Responsibilities
Design and engineer high-voltage systems, switchyards, substations, and transmission & distribution systems in accordance with international codes and standards.
Conduct technical and commercial evaluations of bids for various electrical packages.
Prepare Single Line Diagrams (SLDs), electrical layouts, and detailed engineering drawings.
Develop and select appropriate control and protection schemes based on project requirements.
Perform sizing and selection of electrical equipment, including:
Transformers
Switchgears
Generator Circuit Breakers (GCB)
Bus Ducts
Diesel Generator (DG) Sets
UPS Systems
DC Systems
Lead, mentor, and guide a team of electrical engineers throughout project execution.
Preferred Candidate Profile
Strong expertise in electrical design and engineering for:
High-voltage systems
Switchyards
Substations
Transmission & Distribution (T&D) Systems
Experience in:
Equipment and system specifications
Single Line Diagrams (SLDs)
Schematic diagrams
Power system studies
Cable routing
Earthing and lightning protection layouts
Switchyard and substation layouts
Proficiency in electrical design calculations, including equipment sizing and earthing calculations.
Hands-on experience in specification preparation, tender evaluation, and review of electrical equipment drawings.
Mandatory industry experience in Power Plants and Oil & Gas projects.
Immediate joiners will be preferred.
