Job Summary

We are seeking an IT Technical Support Engineer to provide end-user technical support, maintain IT infrastructure, manage SQL database activities, monitor network systems, and ensure smooth day-to-day IT operations. The ideal candidate should possess strong troubleshooting skills, excellent communication abilities, and experience supporting enterprise IT environments.

Key Responsibilities
Technical Support
Provide technical support to end users through phone, email, and in-person assistance.
Troubleshoot hardware, software, network, and IT-related issues.
Respond to user queries and resolve incidents within defined timelines.
Install, configure, and maintain hardware and software components.
Escalate complex issues to higher-level support teams when required.
Maintain detailed records of support requests and resolutions.
Database Administration
Perform database maintenance activities.
Execute SQL-related tasks and data maintenance.
Ensure database accuracy and integrity.
Ticket Management
Manage incidents using the organization’s ticketing system.
Track, update, and close support tickets.
Ensure SLA compliance.
Network Administration
Monitor network connectivity across the organization.
Identify and resolve network-related issues.
Perform regular network health checks.
Server & Infrastructure Monitoring
Monitor server room and network room temperatures.
Ensure optimal environmental conditions for IT infrastructure.
Monitor systems for unknown threats, malware, and security attacks.
Report and mitigate security risks.
IT Operations
Conduct regular line walks to identify and resolve IT issues.
Set up Video Conference and Teleconference systems (Cisco).
Create and manage IT asset IDs.
Maintain IT asset inventory.
Conduct IT induction sessions for new employees and operators.
User Training
Provide training and guidance on new software, systems, and technologies.
Assist users in effectively utilizing IT resources.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in:
