Job Summary
The Senior Systems Engineer – IT Service Management will be responsible for managing end-to-end enterprise IT infrastructure, including server administration, networking, and IT service management. The role focuses on ensuring system stability, high availability, incident resolution, infrastructure security, and adherence to ITIL best practices.
Key Responsibilities
Server Administration
Manage and administer Windows and Linux servers.
Ensure server availability, reliability, and optimal performance.
Perform server patching, upgrades, and maintenance.
Network Administration
Support and troubleshoot LAN, WAN, VPN, TCP/IP, firewalls, routers, and switches.
Monitor network performance and resolve connectivity issues.
IT Service Management
Manage Incident, Change, and Problem Management processes in accordance with ITIL standards.
Maintain service quality and minimize downtime.
Infrastructure Operations
Manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Microsoft Exchange, and Microsoft 365.
Administer virtualization platforms such as VMware and Hyper-V.
Perform backup, disaster recovery (DR), and business continuity (BCP) activities.
Handle user account administration and access management.
Monitoring & Troubleshooting
Monitor server and network health using enterprise monitoring tools.
Diagnose and resolve infrastructure issues promptly.
Documentation
Prepare and maintain:
Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
Technical documentation
Configuration records
Operational reports
Team Collaboration
Coordinate with cross-functional IT teams.
Provide technical guidance and mentor junior engineers.
