About the Role

Design and implement advanced wireless communication waveforms for defence applications.
Work on FHSS and FHSS-OFDM systems, DSP implementation, synchronization, and RF integration.
Hands-on role within a lean, high-impact engineering team.

Key Responsibilities

Develop FHSS waveform with 500 hops/s and QPSK for 2 Mbps half-duplex Basic version.
Develop FHSS-OFDM with 64 subcarriers for full-duplex transmission over 5 MHz bandwidth.
Port MATLAB simulations to TI DSPs, including C55x and C6748.
Optimize DSP implementation for approximately 20–50 MFLOPS.
Implement waveforms on TI DSP platforms.
Ensure waveform synchronization.
Integrate baseband waveforms with RF hardware such as HackRF and AD9361.
Collaborate with RF engineering teams.

Required Skills

Physical-layer design and baseband processing.
FHSS, OFDM, QPSK waveform development.
MATLAB and C.
TI DSPs — C55x/C6748.
TI Code Composer Studio.
RF systems in the 350–450 MHz range.
Defence-grade anti-jamming techniques.
Strong problem-solving skills.
WPC/DoT regulations — an added advantage.
