Job Summary

The Plant Manager – HR, IR & Admin will lead the Human Resources, Industrial Relations, and Administration functions for the Bangalore manufacturing plant. The role focuses on driving plant HR strategy, maintaining harmonious industrial relations, ensuring statutory compliance, workforce readiness, employee engagement, and supporting organizational excellence through World Class Manufacturing (WCM) practices.

Key Responsibilities
Human Resource Management
Execute the plant HR strategy aligned with business objectives.
Lead recruitment and workforce planning for permanent and contingent employees.
Ensure 100% manpower availability for plant operations.
Drive employee engagement initiatives and organizational culture.
Develop training plans and competency development programs.
Conduct skill-gap analysis and implement improvement initiatives.
Support performance management and succession planning.
Industrial Relations (IR)
Manage employee and union relationships effectively.
Lead negotiations for long-term settlements.
Handle grievance redressal and conflict resolution.
Maintain a positive industrial climate within the plant.
Liaise with labor authorities and government departments.
Administration
Oversee plant administration activities.
Ensure smooth functioning of plant facilities.
Coordinate with local authorities and external agencies.
Support CSR initiatives and community engagement activities.
Compliance
Ensure compliance with labor laws and statutory regulations.
Monitor HR and IR documentation.
Support audits and legal compliance requirements.
World Class Manufacturing (WCM)
Drive implementation of WCM practices.
Lead the People Development Pillar.
Encourage employee participation in continuous improvement programs.
Promote operational excellence and productivity initiatives.
Required Qualifications
Education
MSW (Master of Social Work) or
MBA (Human Resources)

Preferred

BL / LLB is an added advantage.
Experience
Minimum 12–15 years of experience in HR, Industrial Relations, and Administration.
Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment is mandatory.
