Job Summary

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Lab Technician to join our laboratory in Kilpauk, Chennai. The ideal candidate should possess relevant laboratory experience, strong communication skills, and a valid two-wheeler for work-related travel. Immediate joiners will be given preference.

Key Responsibilities
Perform routine laboratory tests and diagnostic procedures accurately.
Collect, label, and process patient samples following laboratory protocols.
Operate, maintain, and calibrate laboratory instruments and equipment.
Ensure proper documentation of test results and laboratory records.
Follow quality control procedures to maintain accuracy and reliability of test results.
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the laboratory.
Adhere to laboratory safety standards and infection control protocols.
Coordinate with doctors, healthcare staff, and patients professionally.
Monitor laboratory inventory and ensure adequate availability of consumables.
Report equipment issues and coordinate timely maintenance.
Required Skills
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Sound knowledge of laboratory procedures and diagnostic testing.
Ability to operate laboratory equipment efficiently.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Good record-keeping and documentation skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Eligibility Criteria
Qualification
DMLT (Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology)
B.Sc. Medical Laboratory Technology (MLT)
Experience
2–5 years of experience in a diagnostic laboratory or healthcare laboratory.
Other Requirements
Two-wheeler is mandatory.
Immediate joiners preferred.
Male and Female candidates can apply.
Salary & Benefits
Salary: ₹15,000 – ₹18,000 per month (Negotiable based on experience)
Petrol Allowance provided
