Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Sign Board Welder to join our fabrication team in Chennai. The ideal candidate will be responsible for fabricating, welding, and assembling metal structures, frames, and components used in indoor and outdoor signage. This role requires expertise in MIG, TIG, and Arc welding techniques, along with the ability to interpret design specifications and ensure high-quality fabrication standards.

Key Responsibilities
Welding & Fabrication
Perform MIG, TIG, Arc, and Stick welding operations on various metal components.
Fabricate and assemble signboard structures, frames, and supporting components.
Ensure welds meet quality, strength, and design specifications.
Material Preparation
Prepare metal surfaces by cleaning, grinding, and degreasing before welding.
Cut, shape, and modify metal materials using hand and power tools.
Ensure proper alignment and fitment of components before welding.
Assembly & Installation Support
Fit and assemble fabricated metal structures accurately.
Collaborate with fabrication and installation teams to meet project requirements.
Support production activities to ensure timely completion of signboard projects.
Equipment Operation
Set up and operate welding machines and fabrication equipment.
Adjust voltage, current, and gas flow settings to achieve optimal welding conditions.
Maintain welding tools and equipment in proper working condition.
Quality Control
Inspect welds and assemblies visually and using measuring instruments.
Verify finished products comply with design drawings and quality standards.
Identify and rectify welding defects or fabrication issues.
Safety & Compliance
Follow all welding safety procedures and workplace regulations.
Use appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times.
Ensure safe handling of welding equipment, gases, and materials.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
