Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Sign Board Fitter to join our installation team in Chennai. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, assembling, and maintaining various types of indoor and outdoor signboards, display systems, and illuminated signage. This role requires technical expertise, safety awareness, and the ability to work efficiently at customer locations.

Key Responsibilities
Signage Installation
Install and mount signboards, display panels, channel letters, and other visual branding elements.
Secure signage on walls, building facades, poles, and other designated structures.
Ensure proper alignment and placement according to approved designs and specifications.
Electrical & Lighting Work
Wire and connect LED modules, lighting fixtures, transformers, and electrical components.
Test illuminated signboards to ensure proper operation and functionality.
Troubleshoot and rectify basic electrical issues during installation.
Site Preparation & Equipment Handling
Gather and prepare all necessary tools, materials, and equipment required for installation.
Safely transport, assemble, and install signage components at project sites.
Ensure proper use and maintenance of installation tools and equipment.
Quality Assurance
Inspect completed installations to ensure compliance with design specifications and quality standards.
Identify and rectify installation defects or alignment issues.
Ensure all signage is securely fitted and visually appealing.
Maintenance & Repairs
Perform routine maintenance and servicing of installed signboards.
Replace damaged components, lighting systems, or fittings as required.
Conduct adjustments to maintain optimal appearance and performance.
Safety & Compliance
Follow all workplace safety regulations and installation procedures.
Use appropriate safety equipment while working at heights and handling electrical systems.
Ensure public and team safety during installation and maintenance activities.
