Head of Finance & Accounts

Industry: Textile Manufacturing
Location: Nungambakkam, Chennai
Employment Type: Full-Time
Reporting To: CFO & Directors
Annual CTC: ₹9 Lakhs – ₹12 Lakhs (Based on Experience)

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced and qualified Head of Finance & Accounts to lead the Finance and Accounts function of a leading textile manufacturing company. The role involves overseeing financial operations, corporate finance activities, statutory compliance, regulatory reporting, and stakeholder coordination while providing strategic financial support to senior management.

Key Responsibilities
Finance & Accounts Management
Lead and supervise the Accounts and Finance department.
Ensure accurate maintenance of financial records and accounting processes.
Oversee month-end and year-end financial closing activities.
Monitor cash flow, budgeting, and financial planning.
Corporate Finance
Manage corporate finance functions and financial strategy implementation.
Support business growth through financial analysis and planning.
Evaluate financial performance and recommend improvements.
Assist management in key financial decision-making.
MIS & Financial Reporting
Prepare and review Management Information System (MIS) reports.
Present financial performance reports to senior management.
Analyze business performance metrics and financial trends.
Ensure timely and accurate reporting of financial data.
Statutory & Regulatory Compliance
Ensure compliance with applicable statutory regulations.
Monitor taxation, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.
Maintain adherence to corporate governance policies.
Coordinate statutory filings and compliance documentation.
ROC Compliance
Ensure compliance with Registrar of Companies (ROC) regulations.
Manage corporate filings and statutory documentation.
Support company secretarial and governance requirements.
Stakeholder Management
Coordinate with:
External Auditors
Internal Auditors
Bankers
Regulatory Authorities
Government Agencies
Facilitate smooth completion of audits and regulatory reviews.
Leadership & Governance
Lead, mentor, and develop the finance and accounts team.
Establish financial controls and risk management practices.
Drive process improvements and operational efficiency.
Provide strategic financial insights to the CFO and Directors.
